Pie Baking Contest


Join us at the Lodge on Saturday, August 31, 2013 for our first annual pie baking contest.
Pie registration is 2:00pm to 2:30pm and judging begins at 2:45pm. 
There are two categories: ‘Fruit’ and ‘Other’. 
Each person may enter one pie in each category. Registration is $10 per pie. 
 Free t-shirts to everyone in attendance while supplies last.

2013 Honey Queen Pageant!

Be sure to come out TODAY at 6 PM (doors open at 5PM) for the Breathitt County Honey Festival Beauty Pageant! This year we have a lot of absolutely gorgeous contestants! We've also brought back a 4-6 year old category in our Wee Little Honey pageant!




Be sure to come out and support these lovely ladies! Our pageant is organized by our 2002 Honey Queen Renee Young Hall, who does a absolutely wonderful job!

Come out during the Honey Festival and watch our 1 hour documentary "The untold story of Bad Tom Smith", narrated by Tom Wopat, on the same street Bad Tom was hung.
